The Thankful Pumpkin

Weeks ago I received an email which included a blurb about these "Poetic Pumpkins" http://poeticpumpkins.blogspot.com/ and I absolutely feel in LOVE with these pumpkins.  I knew I wouldn't have enough time to create one myself, but they inspired me to create my own version.

I was going to use some good 'ol glitter gel for my letters on the pumpkin, until I saw the hemp twine...

I wrote "Thankful" with a pink highlighter on the pumpkin.  I messed up a few times, used a magic eraser until my font looked fancy enough, grabbed the glue gun and began gluing the hemp twine onto my pumpkin.
